Melissa Leff

November 06, 1954 - January 24, 2010

Melissa lost her seven year battle with colon cancer on January 24, 2010 in Palo Alto, California. She passed away peacefully at the age of 55, surrounded by her family. Melissa is survived by her sister Anne, her brother-in-law Charlie, her nephew Sandy and her niece Chelsea. Melissa attended Frostburg State College in Maryland and received a B.A. in Geography. She moved to California in 1987, and lived in Sunnyvale for the last 23 years.

She was an active member of the Community of Christ Church in San Jose, California. Melissa will be remembered especially for her love of music, and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

Burial will take place at 11:00 am on January 27, 2010 at the Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto. A celebration of Melissa's life will be held at 6:00 pm on January 28, 2010 at the Community of Christ Church at 990 Meridian Avenue, San Jose, California. Arrangements entrusted to Roller Hapgood & Tinney Funeral Home in Palo Alto.
